SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Marco Rossi scored two goals and the Minnesota Wild defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 on Sunday.
Mats Zuccarello had a goal and two assists while Matt Boldy completed the scoring for the Minnesota squad.
The Wild won their third straight game after firing head coach Dean Evason and replacing him with John Hynes.
The Wild had scored just 13 goals and suffered seven straight losses, leading to Evason’s firing. Since then, in three games, the team has dominated its opponents 13-3 in terms of goals.
Marc-André Fleury stopped 27 shots for the Wild, who signed a 10th consecutive victory against the Blackhawks.
The Chicago team suffered a third defeat in a row. Taylor Raddysh moved the strings while Petr Mrazek stopped 30 pucks.
