Josh Norris scored the only goal of the shootout and the Ottawa Senators beat the Minnesota Wild 2-1 on Saturday in a game played in Stockholm, Sweden, as part of the Global Series.

It was a Swedish goalie duel between Anton Forsberg, who stopped 24 shots for the Sens, and Filip Gustavsson, who made 30 saves for the Wild.

The Senators are off until next Friday, when they host the New York Islanders for their return to Canada.

The ceremonial puck drop was made by Hall of Famer Daniel Alfredsson.

Wild forward Frédérick Gaudreau was sidelined with an upper body injury.

The Wild, who suffered a fourth loss in a row, will complete their stay in Europe with a duel against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. This will be the final game of the NHL Overall Series.
