The Pittsburgh Penguins and Tristan Jarry are currently in contract extension negotiations, team general manager Ron Hextall revealed Friday.
Jarry is about to enter the final year of his three-year, $10.5 million contract, signed in October 2020. He will earn $3.5 million this season.
The 27-year-old Jarry was sixth in the NHL last year with a .919 save percentage and a 2.42 goals-against average. He posted a 34-18-6 record.
Jarry only played one playoff game last year due to a foot injury that caused him to miss the last 12 games of the season and the first three of the playoffs.
The doorman was selected 44th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2013 draft.
