Former Quebec Nordiques forward Tony McKegney faces charges of two felonies, according to the buffalo news.
McKegney allegedly called and emailed a woman who had a protective order facing him. He reportedly called the woman seven times, including five in the span of three hours, on April 2, the day investigators told McKegney of the order.
Now 64, McKegney played for the Nordiques for two two-season stints. In 203 games with Quebec, he scored 69 goals and totaled 132 points.
During his NHL career, McKegney scored 320 goals and had 639 points in 912 games.
He also played for the Buffalo Sabres, Minnesota North Stars, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings and Chivago Blackhawks.
