NHL: Mark Borowiecki signs one more year in Nashville

The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Mark Borowiecki to a one-year, $900,000 contract through the end of the 2022-23 season.

Borowiecki has two assists and a +2 differential in 39 games this season, including 103 penalty minutes.

The 32-year-old joined the Preds in October 2020 and he had one assist in 22 appearances that year.

An Ottawa native, he spent his first nine NHL seasons with his original club, the Senators, who drafted him 139th overall in 2008.
