NHL: Jon Merrill signs three-year contract extension with the Wild Minnesota

The Minnesota Wild have offered defenseman Jon Merrill a three-season contract extension worth $ 3.6 million.

The agreement, which will earn him $ 1.2 million per year, is valid until the conclusion of the 2024-2025 campaign.

Merrill could have become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has 3 goals and 8 assists in 51 games this year.

In 438 career NHL games, including 13 with the Montreal Canadiens last year, Merrill has a record of 15 goals and 62 assists.
