Vikings: Byron Murphy comes to strengthen the Vikings

Finishing 31st pass defense did not please the general manager of Minnesota. After Cam Dantzler’s cut and Patrick Peterson’s departure from the Steelers, the cornerback position had to be renewed. According to NFL Media, it is therefore Byron Murphy who comes to reinforce the secondary of the Vikings for two seasons and 22 million dollars.

At 25, the now ex-day of Arizona comes out of a season cut short by injuries with only 9 games played. Drafted at the start of the second round by the Cardinals, Murphy played 56 games, made 229 tackles including 3 sacks and 5 interceptions. As history likes to repeat itself, he will once again have to take the place vacated by Peterson.
