Vikings: Adam Thielen leaves

It’s a beautiful story that ends. Undrafted in 2013, Adam Thielen arrived at the Vikings anonymously. He leaves this Friday after being officially cut.

Meanwhile, he has accumulated 534 receptions, 6,682 yards and 55 touchdowns. He notably signed two seasons at more than 1,200 yards in 2017 and 2018, each time with a Pro Bowl selection as a reward.

But its drop in level in recent seasons combined with a weight of 19.97 million dollars in the payroll finally pushed its leaders to put an end to the adventure.

Last season, the 32-year-old caught 70 passes for 716 yards and 6 touchdowns. All the same. This will surely open the doors of a new team to him, which will appreciate his qualities on the tracks and the safety of his hands.

On the purple side, KJ Obsorn officially takes on the role of number two receiver behind the sparkling Justin Jefferson.
