This is the play of the year in the NFL. On Thursday night, Garrett Wilson propelled the Jets to victory with an incredible one-handed reception.
The Jets are 26 yards from the end zone. Third attempt and 19 yards to gain. Aaron Rodgers has a clean pocket, steps back, arms and sends the ball into the end zone, to his left towards Garrett Wilson. The receiver raises his right arm, the ball sticks in his hand, and he brings both legs to the ground to stay in the field: touchdown!
An action which inevitably recalls that of Odell Beckham, ten years earlier in the same stadium.

Jeff Ulbrich: “I told the referees to award it for posterity”
This crazy reception almost didn’t get validated. Initially, the referees believe that Garrett Wilson did not stay within the limits of the field. Head to the video.
“ I talked to the referees while they were reviewing the footage. I told them: “Just for posterity, you have to say that he was on the field for it to go down in history,” said Jeff Ulbrich, the Jets coach, in a press conference after the match.
It must be said that at the time, this touchdown also allowed the Jets to get back in front. A left shin, a right foot, the referees agree with Ulbrich, and the touchdown is validated!
Garrett Wilson as Michael Jordan?
The comparison that flourished the most after the meeting was that with the Jumpman, the legendary logo adapted from a Michael Jordan dunk.
“ I told him he might get fired from Adidas after this one.“, joked Davante Adams to the press following the meeting. Adams who is also signed with Jordan… and who is ready to provide contacts. “ Looks like he's going to sign with Jordan. We'll see. I'm going to talk to a few people. I'm not saying they're going to replace the logo, Mike probably wouldn't like that. But it was a difficult reception. »
