One Brown can hide another on the Bengals offensive line.
According to NFL media, offensive lineman Trent Brown is in Cincinnati this Tuesday to undergo his medical examination. The 30-year-old tackle is expected to sign a one-year contract. The ex-Patriots will thus join Orlando Brown Jr. (OT) to protect Joe Burrow (QB). A major addition for the Bengals offensive line which will have two former pro-bowlers at tackle positions. During his 93 starts in the NFL, Trent Brown played 51 games as a right tackle and 42 as a left tackle.
In 2023, Trent Brown found himself in 1-on-1 situations on 88.3% of his pass blocks last season, the highest rate among left tackles. However, Brown only allowed pressure on just 7.1% of those snaps, the second-lowest rate among left tackles.
