Not necessarily a big return, but a big name. Tre'Davious White is moving. ESPN announces that the cornerback has been sent to the Ravens.
Specifically, the Rams reportedly sent White with a 7th round pick in the 2027 Draft to Baltimore, only to receive a 7th round pick in the 2026 Draft.
Suffice it to say, not much.
Tre'Davious White, looking for revival
If the Ravens did not have to do much to recover Tre'Davious White, it is because he is unfortunately no longer really the player of his excellent start to his career with the Bills.
Selected in the first team All-Pro in 2019, then in the second team All-Pro in 2020, he then experienced a fairly steep fall, precipitated by repeated injuries. It all started with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in 2021 that deprived him of a year of competition. In 2023, he tore his Achilles tendon.
The Rams signed him for one year and $10 million last March. With Los Angeles, he played 4 games for 12 tackles and 2 pass deflections.
In Baltimore, he brings experience to a group of rather young cornerbacks behind veteran Marlon Humphrey. It remains to be seen whether he still has what it takes to help a title contender.
