Titans – Jaguars (6-10): Tank’there is life…

Tennessee Titans (3-10) – Jacksonville Jaguars (3-10): 6-10

Can we talk about suspense when both teams are so bad that they leave the other within shooting distance the entire match, but the hope of scoring is so slim that a turnaround seems improbable?

The Titans recovered with 4 points behind and a little less than a minute to play. They even had a timeout. But like when they had another match point a few minutes earlier, they were unable to finish.

Will Levis (19/32, 168 yards) threw another incomplete pass. And Jacksonville ended a five-game losing streak. Thanks to its defense, which held the match without conceding a single touchdown.

Fortunately the defense was there. Because the Jacksonville attack hasn't really made up for the absence of Trevor Lawrence. On his first possession, Mac Jones (23/31, 220 yards, 2 int) threw an interception. And he did it again after half-time.

A break reached with the astronomical score of 3-0 in favor of Titans who were not really more impressive.

After three punts, a field goal for each team (6-3) and another punt, it was Tank Bigsby (18 races, 55 yards, 1 TD) who ended up reminding everyone that the goal of the game is to set foot in the opposing goal. Phew.

And ? That's all. So the Titans had two match points, with a Jacksonville 3-and-out in between, but there was nothing to be done.

Tennessee had chances. Tony Pollard (21 carries, 102 yards) led the attack. The Titans did not lose any balls while Jacksonville gave up two. But Levis and his squad were simply too ineffective when they needed to be.
