We were telling you about it last week, the Titans unveiled the visuals of what should be their next stadium. With an announced capacity of approximately 60,000 seats, this new enclosure will take the place of the current Nissan Stadium, inaugurated in 1999. According to Burke Nihill, CEO of the Titans, this stadium will be built, among other things, in order to to host the Super Bowl in Tennessee for the first time.
“We envision a potential new stadium that will make our community proud and enhance the reputation of our great city and state. We are focused on designing a stadium capable of hosting a prestigious international event on a Sunday and a steady stream of impactful community programming later that same week. This is a building that would serve Nashville and Tennessee for generations. »
Designed by the architecture firm MANICA, which previously worked on the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas or the Chase Center, basketball hall of the Golden State Warriors, the stadium will be inspired by the city of Nashville, will have a transparent roof and not -retractable and is planned to be complementary to the development of the east side of Nashville.
The cost of this stadium is estimated at $2.1 billion, and no expected delivery date has yet been announced.
