The Raiders hire Josh McDaniels as coach!

Boston cold is coming to Las Vegas!

According to NFL Network, the Raiders will hire Josh McDaniels to fill their position as head coach. Both sides are said to be finalizing the contract. Obviously, given the liabilities of McDaniels, who had planted the Colts when everything seemed done, this signing will be watched closely.

And it’s a Patriots package that lands in Sin City. Because Dave Ziegler, personnel director of New England, should be the new general manager.

McDaniels already has head coaching experience. He led the Broncos in 2009 and 2010, with 11 wins and 17 losses. Not helped by complicated human management, he had been landed during his second season.

After one season as the Rams’ offensive coordinator, he returned to the Patriots in 2012 and has served as offensive coordinator ever since. In 2018, his hiring by the Colts was announced, before he finally changed his mind.
