Surprise in Green Bay. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL media, the Packers have reached an agreement with Josh Jacobs. Details are not yet known.
While we knew that the franchise wanted to be active, once is not customary, on the market, the Packers went in a direction not necessarily expected. The arrival of Josh Jacobs in the squad offers Jordan Love's team one of the most attractive and promising running duos in the NFL with Aaron Jones.
Selected first in the draft in 2019, the running back, just 26 years old, spent the first five years of his career in the colors of the Raiders with a record of more than 5,500 yards and 46 touchdowns. Retained by the franchise tag in 2023, the player was left free this year.
His arrival in Green Bay marks the return of ambition for the Cheeseheads.
