The series “Quarterback” renewed for a second season by Netflix
Netflix began broadcasting the show “Quarterback” featuring Patrick Mahomes (QB, Chiefs), Kirk Cousins (QB, Vikins) and Marcus Mariota (QB, ex-Falcons) on July 12.
Obviously, it’s a success since Peyton Manning, former glory of the Colts and the Broncos, announced in the PatMcAfeeShow that the video-on-demand platform had already renewed the program for a second season.
As a reminder, the series plunges us into the very different daily life of three starting quarterbacks in the NFL: Mariota who has to fight against rookie Desmond Ridder for the starting position in Atlanta, Kirk Cousins who takes his first steps under the orders of Kevin O’ Connell in Minnesota and Patrick Mahomes looking to win another Lombardi Trophy with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Return of a historic jersey for the Vikings
The Vikings have announced the return of their historic jersey paying homage to the franchise’s jersey from the sixties and seventies.
We find on the helmet the traditional horn of the Viking in a retro aesthetic and a gray color grid. This jersey was revealed via a virtual event reserved for ticket holders.
The Vikings will wear this tunic in the first week of the 2023 season against the Buccaneers and are expected to wear it again in the future.

Austin Ekeler reflects on his failed transfer
The market for running backs is cruel. Once considered the cornerstone of NFL offenses, the position is now devalued. In search of a contract extension, Josh Jacobs, Tony Pollard or even Saquon Barkley learned it at their expense.
