“The NFL Draft is one of the most anticipated and important events in American sport each year. We are delighted to partner with the city of Pittsburgh for the 2026 edition,” announced League Commissioner Roger Goodell.

In its official press release, the NFL specifies that the draft will be held both at Point State Park in downtown Pittsburgh as well as around Acrisure Stadium [ndlr : anciennement Heinz Field]home of the Steelers.

The draft was based in Detroit in 2024 and it will take place in 2025 at the legendary Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Pittsburgh had not hosted the draft since 1948, seventy-eight years ago.
