The Atlanta Falcons are in the Koo

The Eagles are broken
That the Super Bowl of the 2022 season seems far away for the Eagles. In distress at the end of last season, the Eagles did not get their heads back on track. It seems increasingly clear that this team is made up of talented players forming a mediocre team.
The coaches are overwhelmed, Jalen Hurts no longer makes a difference, and the defense is incapable of putting pressure on the quarterback. If Philadelphia does not do better after the bye, Nick Sirianni will be seriously threatened. In the last eleven matches, the Eagles have lost eight times, proof of the team's deep limitations.
Dallas still not up to par
It's definitely not a party in the NFC East. The Cowboys won against a weak Giants, but the structural weaknesses of this team on offense are still present: lack of ground game, no number 2 receiver and a line much more porous than in the past.
On this last point, the hope lies in the fact that there are two rookies who can progress. But for the first time in years, this offense seems to lack talent despite an excellent Dak Prescott.
The Jets are still not good
After an initial defeat against the 49ers, the Jets gave the impression of gaining strength. However, they reconnected with their demons in this fourth week. The loss against weak Broncos is a real thunderbolt for the Jets' season.
Aaron Rodgers looked like an old, worn and tired quarterback. And the coaching still seems to be failing, both in the air and on the ground. Between bad calls and questionable resource use, there appear to be structural problems. To play in the Super Bowl, it will take a big challenge.
The Texans are a great team
Great teams win, despite adversity, despite trials. After a surprise defeat against the Vikings, the Texans found themselves trailed in the final seconds by the Jaguars. CJ Stroud found the resources to lead his team to victory.
Well helped by an absolutely extraordinary Nico Collins, the Texans moved forward and almost definitively eliminated an opponent in the division.
Joe Flacco is eternal
Launched in the middle of a match against the best defense in the league, Joe Flacco led his team to victory. Author of a 16/26 for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns, he seems more eternal than ever.
The Colts seem to have found a good offensive balance with Flacco, and the defense has also done its part to maintain the hope of the playoffs. When he returns, Anthony Richardson will have the pressure to do just as well.
Chicago on the right track?
The Chicago Bears won a football game, but it's the manner that will please the fans. Clean offensively, Caleb Williams seems to be making progress and is developing a much better relationship with his receivers.
The defense did the job, as it often does, and Chicago now has a balanced record. Enough to raise hope for Matt Eberflus' men. Who can aim for the playoffs if progress continues.
The Vikings are for real
Against the Packers, the Vikings dominated the start of the game to lead 28-0. If the end of the match was more sluggish, Minnesota had a fourth victory in a row against a direct opponent.
Every season there is a team on a “mission”, which must come back to earth but which never does.
The Vikings seem to be the one of 2024.
Washington is crazy!
What if the best offense in the league was in Washington? The Commanders crushed the Cardinals with 42 points, a few days after having destroyed the Bengals defense. Jayden Daniels is radiant, and the running game is also on point.
If the former LSU quarterback looks like a rookie of the year, it's the entire team that seems in harmony, to the point where it no longer seems so impossible to see them win the NFC East.
Kansas City is a defensive team
It's been a reality since the start of the 2023 season, and it's not about to stop after Rashee Rice's injury: the Chiefs win games on defense. Faced with the Chargers weighed down by injuries, Steve Spagnuolo's gang did what they know how to do: stifle the opponent and not take points when it counts.
Patrick Mahomes is far from an MVP at the moment, but the Chiefs are 4-0. Everything is fine, for now.
Ravens get back to basics
For the second week in a row, the Ravens won. And for the second week in a row, redemption came through the ground. With a total of 271 yards including 199 for Derrick Henry, Baltimore looked like this steamroller that has terrorized the league for several years.
With such an identity, optimism is returning to Baltimore.
