Texans move up to 3rd to select Will Anderson

A quarterback or a defender, that was the question swirling around the league in recent days. Nick Caserio and DeMeco Ryans failed to choose and therefore preferred to do both. After CJ Stroud, Houston moved up to 3rd to recover Will Anderson.

In exchange for the 3rd pick, the Texans sent the Cardinals the 12th and 33rd picks of this draft, as well as the 1st and 3rd rounds of the 2024 draft. Houston also gets the 105th pick this year.

With Anderson, the Texans recover an aggressive, explosive player with undeniable physical qualities. Former 49ers, DeMeco Ryans was able to work with Nick Bosa for many seasons. He certainly hopes that Will Anderson will be of this caliber.
