Texans-Chiefs broadcast with Madden sauce

After the match broadcast in Simpsons version, it's time for the Madden version. Announced at halftime of the game between the Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers, the first-ever “Madden NFL Cast from EA Sports” promises to reimagine American football live.

On December 21, during the Chiefs-Falcons match, NBC and Peacock will integrate features from the famous video game directly into the action. A special meeting which is part of the NFL’s “John Madden Thanksgiving Celebration”.

Rest assured, you won't need a controller to enjoy the show. You will simply feel like you are watching a game match in real time. All superimposed on a real NFL game, hosted by some of your favorite players.

EA Sports Madden NFL Cast, what about?

Peacock and NBC, broadcasters of the match in question, gave a glowing description of this project.

“Mixing video game and live action elements, the stream will be an immersive experience that injects the unique elements of the Madden brand in the form of animated overlays. Featuring EA Sports Madden NFL 25 live graphics, route trees, game maps and player ratings, the Madden NFL Cast will transform viewers' football strategy, information and IQ. »

To reinforce the immersion of the match, professional voices will be present on the air. Paul Burmeister of NBC Sports will, for example, handle play-by-play. He will be joined by Kurt Benkert, former Packers quarterback turned YouTuber, who will use graphic overlays to analyze and predict play calls.

Troublemaker Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson will adjust player ratings in real time.

A function which risks keeping the former receiver particularly busy. Between the two teams, no less than 11 players have a Madden rating above 90 (including Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, who both started the current NFL season in the “Madden 99 Club,” bringing together players having a score of 99).

And to complete the field, Henry Leverette, 2024 Madden champion, will bring us his expertise on the game. What more could you ask for?
