Texans – Chiefs (24-30 AD): Pat Mahomes and Jerick McKinnon get their team out of the trap

Houston Texans (1-12-1) – Kansas City Chiefs (11-3): 24-30 after overtime

Heckled, jostled, the Chiefs had unexpected difficulties to overcome the Texans. Entered more than quietly in their match, Andy Reid’s men were unable to get their hands on the match. Running after the score in the first half, then playing crossover in the second, it took until extra time to find a winning outcome. A two-step outcome like their match. Unable to finish despite the inaugural possession, the Chiefs gave themselves a second winning chance with a stolen ball. A far-fetched success against the worst team in the league.

Houston more enterprising

After a double exchange of punts to start the game, it was the Texans who fired first. By alternating quarterbacks, the locals manage to destabilize the defense. A Driskel shot, a Mills shot, and it works. The second connects with Teagan Quitoriano. Mills adds 6 more points on a nice run from 17 yards improving a fumble covered by his defense.

Opposite the Chiefs only play in reaction. Responding only when led. Once is not custom it is by the ground that Kansas City puts the forward gear. Rookie Isiah Pacheco shakes the chains and Mahomes concludes finds McKinnon. Then at the very end of halftime, by a drive of which the quarterback has the secret. 97 yards and a corner touchdown from Marquez Valdes-Scantling 14 seconds from halftime. 14-13

The Chiefs take out the oars

Despite 3 points added to the return from the locker room, the Chiefs continue to be hooked and fail to get their hands on the score and the ball. A new fumble allows the Texans to return to a few games later. 24-16
But once again, Andy Reid’s men can thank their MVP. Mahomes isn’t letting momentum build for the locals. The response is immediate. At the end of his drive, the quarterback himself concludes on a run. And McKinnon adds 2 points on the conversion.

Again led 5 minutes from the end, the Chiefs have possession and think they can roll out to victory. In winning position, Harrison Butker misses the target and sends both teams into overtime. And as a summary of their match, Kansas City stumbles on valiant opponents. Forced to punt, they nevertheless recover the leather instantly thanks to a ball snatched by Franck Clark. The punishment is instantaneous. McKinnon pierces the defensive curtain and offers the victory to his people.
