On Tuesday, the Eagles announced that they have chosen their traditional kit, green jersey and white pants, for the Super Bowl.
Because on the odd years, it is the team which represents the NFC conference which is considered to be playing at home, and it is therefore the team which has the first choice on the color of its jersey.
Jalen Hurts and his teammates will wear the same outfit as Nick Foles and the players who beat the Patriots in Super Bowl LII to win the franchise’s first title.
A few hours later, the Chiefs therefore logically announced that they will wear their white jersey to face Philadelphia. This will be Kansas City’s first time playing white in the Super Bowl. The franchise has two wins and one loss in the Big Game, still in red.
