CJ Stroud will be served for his second year in terms of targets
This Wednesday, ESPN announces that receiver Stefon Diggs is being shipped to the Houston Texans.
The Texan franchise reached an agreement with the Buffalo Bills to acquire the player. The compensation for the Bills is a 2025 2nd rounder originally owned by the Vikings.
In return, the Texans receive a 2024 6th rounder, and a 2025 5th rounder in addition to the player.
Stefon Diggs losing momentum in Buffalo
After leaving the Vikings being sullen and angry, it is in the same state of mind that the receiver leaves Buffalo.
Below his level at the end of last season, the receiver still recorded a 4th season in a row with more than 1,000 yards for the Bills. But, he has not exceeded 100 yards per game since October 2023.
For his 2nd year in the NFL, CJ Stroud will therefore have a prime target. In addition to Nico Collins and Tank Dell who should be back for training camps, the attack promises to be explosive for the Texans.
