Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger officially announces his retirement

Finally powerless on the ground, Ben Roethlisberger left the NFL grounds for good.

This Thursday, the quarterback published a video in which he unrolls the long list of usual thanks. With the phrasing of a hostage who would keep the daily newspaper and the emotion of a koala under tranxene, Roethlisberger recalls his journey and takes advantage of the presence of his family to announce to them that they will now have to deal with his presence permanently. .

Selected in 11th position in the 2004 Draft, Roethlisberger leaves with two championship titles. If he was not level in his first Super Bowl victory against the Seahawks, he was a big player in the success of 2008/09 against the Cardinals, in an anthology game.

Six-time Pro Bowl selection, he threw 418 touchdowns for 211 interceptions. He is 39 years old.
