Ravens: but where did Diontae Johnson go?

Diontae Johnson suited up for the game against the Eagles on Sunday. But he didn't play a single snap. Even when Rashod Bateman left the match due to injury.

Why is the receiver used as a walk-on? Mystery.

He is not injured. And John Harbaugh didn't want to say much to the press on Monday.

“For now, I will have to wait to clarify what is happening”explained the coach. “ There are things that are moving, that we will have to manage and explore to see where we are. I know this isn't the answer you want, but it's the best I can tell you right now.. »

Will Diontae Johnson remain a Ravens? Even on that, Harbaugh didn't look sure.

“We'll just see where we are over the next few days. »

The Ravens are off this week.

Diontae Johnson, a transfer for a reception?

Arriving in Baltimore at the end of October for an exchange of Draft choices, Diontae Johnson has been more than discreet since.

The 28-year-old receiver caught a pass on November 7, for his first game with the Ravens. From ? He played 17 snaps, was targeted three times but did not catch a single ball.

However, he arrived from the Panthers, with whom he had accumulated 30 receptions, 357 yards and 3 touchdowns in 7 games. A contribution that would surely have pleased Lamar Jackson.

“We want him on the field. He's a great receiver. We didn't bring him from the Panthers for nothing“, the star quarterback explained to ESPN.

For now, though, Johnson remains a spectator. Without anyone really knowing why.
