Rams: Cooper Kupp out of Game 1

Affected by an hamstring at the beginning of August, Cooper Kupp is not doing well. Victim of a relapse a few days ago, the Rams receiver is now forfeited for the first game of the season, against the Seattle Seahawks.

It was Sean McVay, his coach, who announced it to the press on Wednesday. Worse, the manager did not rule out the possibility of placing his player on the injured list, which would mean an absence of at least four games.

Victim of a major ankle sprain, Cooper Kupp had already missed the last eight games of the 2022 season. He has therefore not played in an official match since November 13. Without him, Matthew Stafford will have to throw the ball to a group of receivers made up of Van Jefferson, Tutu Atwell, Demarcus Robinson, Ben Skowronek and Puka Nacua.

Kupp turned 30 in the offseason. After an exceptional 2021 season where he accumulated 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns, his physique now seems to call him to order.
