Pro Bowl: the Ravens in force, Patrick Mahomes not selected

The NFL revealed this Thursday the squads that will compete in the Pro Bowl.

With a very good season, the Ravens place 9 players in the AFC conference. As leaders, we can find quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry. In addition to Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen (QB, Bills) and Joe Burrow (QB, Bengals) will accompany him.

Therefore, the news to remember in the AFC conference is the non-selection of Patrick Mahomes. The three-time Super Bowl winner has always been selected to the Pro Bowl since he started. Among the 5 Chiefs selected, we can note the presence of tight end Travis Kelce.

Sam Darnold and rookies for the first time at the Pro Bowl

In the NFC, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold will participate for the first time in his career. To accompany him, there will be Jared Goff (QB, Lions) and… Jayden Daniels (QB, Commanders).

The rookie is one of 3 rookies selected to the Pro Bowl, with Brock Bowers (TE, Raiders) and Jared Verse (EDGE, Rams). To continue in the NFC conference, the Lions are the team that places the most players with 7 players. In addition to Jared Goff, we also find receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back Jahmyr Gibbs. They are closely followed by the Eagles and the Vikings, who each place 6 players.

The Dolphins, Jets, Titans and Saints are the 4 teams not represented in this selection.

As a reminder, the Pro Bowl will take place in Florida with a game of flag football at 7 against 7 on February 2, 2025, in addition to some activities. A match that will be coached by the Manning brothers, Peyton and Eli.
