Power Ranking S6: Houston launched like a rocket

Houston doesn’t seem to have much of a problem anymore. Led by CJ Stroud, the Texans have impressed since the start of the season to the point of knocking on the door of the Top 15 (19th). Other great progressions of the week: the Jets (+7) and the Rams (+6) who continue to cling to the right wagon. A Power Ranking once again dominated by the Chiefs (+2).

More complicated week on the other hand for the Titans (-6)the Colts (-6)the Falcons (-6) and the Saints (-6) which fall towards the bottom of the ranking.

As a reminder, this hierarchy is not only based on the number of successes, but also on current form. If two teams are close and haven’t played each other recently, one wonders which one would win if the match were played today. Beating the strongest is not going to propel you to the top in the blink of an eye. Losing to one of the dunces won’t plunge you into the abyss either. One can win and tumble, bow and climb. This is the merciless law of Power Ranking…

1. Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) +2

The champion regains his throne, but it remains fragile.

Week 7: trip to the Seahawks.

Chicago no longer has a choice, it will have to release its rookie quarterback. The Bears can no longer keep Tyson Bagent a secret.

Bill Belichick will perhaps break the record for the number of defeats before that of the number of victories.

Week 7: reception of Bills.
