It never stops panicking the counters. Ja'Marr Chase (WR, Bengals) is simply unstoppable this season. If that's not enough to win every game, it's more than enough to win against Dallas and get their 4 backe AFC Offensive Player of the Week award in his career.
The superstar receiver accumulated 177 yards on 14 receptions and for 2 touchdowns, the last of which was for the win. Ja'Marr Chase is now the leader in receptions (93), yards (1,319) and touchdowns (15). The reward is fair for a player who has added up capital performances in defeats.
With 14 catches, 177 yards, and 2 scores, Ja'Marr Chase is the first receiver with a 10+, 175+, 2+ game since Ja'Marr Chase did it in Week 10 against the Ravens, who was the first receiver to do it since Ja'Marr Chase did it in Week 5 against the Ravens.

On the NFC side, it is Sam Darnold (QB, Vikings) who has the right to laurels for his very successful match against the Falcons. Against his predecessor, the quarterback threw 28 passes, completed 22 for 347 yards and 5 touchdowns. This is the first time in his career that Sam Darnold has received this title… in the NFC. The player already has an award of this style in the AFC, received when he was still playing for the Jets in 2019.
In defense, the linemen are in the spotlight. They are not the flashiest names in the league but Zach Sieler (DT, Dolphins) and Yetur Gross-Matos (DE, 49ers) put in performances worthy of the best. The first recorded 4 tackles including 2 sacks in his team's victory against the Jets. The second also made 4 tackles including 3 sacks on Caleb Williams (Bears). The two defenders are honored for the first time.
