Players of the Week 10: Kyler Murray swings again

It's been a long time since Kyler Murray (QB, Cardinals) was named player of the week. Since 2021 precisely. But the Arizona quarterback finally seems free of his physical problems and is slowly increasing the pressure this season. His very clean copy at 22/24, 266 yards 1 passing touchdown accompanied as always by a great contribution on the ground (2 touchdowns) against the Jets is the latest example. And the icing on the cake, the Cardinals are now at 6 wins for 4 losses. If Murray continues his momentum, they could well be one of the great surprises of the season. For his coach Jonathan Gannon in any case, he is “the best player on the planet”.

Alongside Kyler Murray in the NFC, Zack Baun (LB, Eagles) is rewarded for the first time. The linebacker gave the Cowboys offense nightmares, causing two turnovers. Jake Bates (K, Lions) has cold blood. The Detroit kicker hit two kicks at the best of times against Houston, giving his team the victory.

Lamar Jackson (QB, Ravens) could have been put forward instead of Kyler Murray. But the Raven accustoms us to the exceptional. His 323 cumulative yards and 4 passing touchdowns earned him his third player of the week title this season. The Bengals are the latest victims of the reigning MVP. Taron Johnson (CB, Bills) certainly didn't make a friend by harassing Joe Flacco all evening. A pick-six, a sack and victory for the Buffalo safety. Leo Chenal (LB, Chiefs) blocked Denver's hopes of victory, literally.
