Player of the Week 16: It's already Christmas for Chuba Hubbard

NFL Santa Claus distributes the first Christmas rewards before the big fish at the end of the regular season.

During this week 16, Chuba Hubbard and Jonathan Taylor are logically rewarded for offensive player of the week. This season is the first time that both men have won the award. For the Panthers running back, it's even the first time in his career. For the Colts, it is the third time in his career after 2021 (week 10) and 2022 (week 11).

A first for the two defensive players in both conferences. With 2 sacks this week, Andrew Van Ginkel finally gets the reward in NFC. In the AFC, thanks to one of his two forced fumbles which changed the course of the match, Raiders safety Isaiah Pola-Mao got his hands on this title. He is the second Raiders player to receive this award after Maxx Crosby in Week 2.

To complete, these two kickers were perfect to ensure the victory of their respective teams. Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey and Dolphins' Jason Sanders receive special teams player of the week honors. This is a first this season for the Cowboys player, the third in his career. For the Dolphins player, it is also a first this season, the sixth in his career.
