Patrick Queen, new king of Pittsburgh's defense
A new transfer, a new betrayal. Like Saquon Barkley or his ex-teammate Geno Stone before him, Patrick Queen leaves the Ravens… but remains in the AFC North.
The linebacker agreed with the Steelers for 3 years and $41 million according to ESPN. He will strengthen an already qualitative front-seven with the presence of TJ Watt, Alex Highsmith on the outside, and Cameron Heyward on the inside of the defensive line.
All-Pro in 2023
Patrick Queen is coming off his best career season. With 133 tackles (9 for loss), 3.5 sacks and 6 passes defended, he was one of the best linebackers on the market.
Rewarded with a second team All Pro and Pro Bowl nomination, the duo he formed with Roquan Smith was among the best in the league. To replace him, the Ravens will therefore rely on Trenton Simpson, rookie drafted in the 3rd round last year.
Now captain of the Pittsburgh defense, he will therefore be the new relay for Brian Flores.
