The Panthers renew their faith in their star receiver through 2025.
While waiting to find their quarterback of the future, the Panthers are betting on continuity with their body of receivers. After restructuring Robby Anderson’s contract earlier today, they have just extended DJ Moore.
According to ESPN journalist Adam Schefter, the receiver will extend for three additional years on the side of North Carolina for an amount of 61.88 million dollars, including 41.61 million guaranteed at the signing. Before this signing, he had one last year of contract left in 2022 for an amount of 11.17 million dollars, almost all of which is guaranteed.
This extension comes to reward his last three seasons above 1000 yards at the reception. Last season he caught 93 balls for 1157 yards and scored 4 touchdowns.
Panthers are giving WR DJ Moore a three-year, $61.884 million extension in new money, per his agents @DrewJRosenhaus, @JasonRosenhaus and @NFLrecord. New money average per money is $20.628M. There is a full guarantee of $41.61M. He is tied to Carolina for four and $73 million.
