Panthers: Derrick Brown extends for 4 years and 96 million

Defensive Tackles are in vogue. After Chris Jones (Chiefs, 5 years, 158 million), Christian Wilkins (Raiders, 4 years, 110 million), or even Justin Madubuike (Ravens, 4 years, 98 million), it's Derrick Brown who takes the checkout: 4 years and 96 million (including 63 million guaranteed) for the 25-year-old player.

An amount equivalent, therefore, to the market price for the best talents in this position.

Pro-bowler for the first time in 2023, and one of the only ones to survive in the sinking of the Panthers, Derrick Brown was omnipresent last season: 103 tackles, 15 QB Hits, 2 sacks.

Selected in 7th position in the 2020 draft, Derrick Brown is therefore the cornerstone of a Panthers defense in total reconstruction. He even became the main star after the departure of Brian Burns to the Giants.
