Green Bay Packers (4-7) – Tennessee Titans (7-3): 17-27
The improvement will have been short-lived in Wisconsin. Revitalized by their victory against the Cowboys, the Packers were curtly brought back to earth by the Titans. Hyper efficient, realistic and pragmatic, Mike Vrabel’s men were in the lead throughout the match and were never really worried. It must be said that opposite, the Packers did not know how to give their squads. Sometimes effective in defense and mute in attack, sometimes productive offensively but unable to stop Tennessee. Once again, Matt LaFleur abandoned the racing game inexplicably to force the pass with a frustrated Aaron Rodgers (24/39, 227 yards, 2 TD).
Derrick Henry (28 rushes, 87 yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 45 yards, 1 passing TD) monopolized and wore out his opponents, providing space for receivers and Ryan Tannehill (22/27, 333 yards, 2 TD , 1 Int) which achieves its best performance of the season. Solidly installed at the top of their division, the Titans already have a foothold in the playoffs.
The Perfect Titans Game Plan
The start is ideal for Tennessee who, despite the snow, unfolds his inaugural drive perfectly to launch hostilities through Dontrell Hilliard. The visitors have a recipe, leave Aaron Rodgers off the pitch. Undermining work from Derrick Henry on the ground, small passes from Tannehill and the chains are moving, and the clock is ticking. On a river possession of more than 10 minutes, Henry however ends up stalling on the 4th attempt a few yards from the end zone. But very quickly the men of Mike Vrabel have another opportunity. And this time, the running back ends up in the end zone.
Opposite, the Green Bay attack blows as usual, hot and cold. Two 3&outs, but a perfectly executed possession that Aaron Rodgers wraps up beautifully by finding Christian Watson. But on returning to the locker room, the locals’ attack spent half the time on the field, traveled half the yards and scored half the points.
More than ever, the base man of his team’s attack, Henry is everywhere. If his advances on the ground remain fairly well controlled, he finds other ways to make misery for the Packers. First on a reception from 42 yards, then on a pass for a touchdown.

Behind the Packers cling somehow. Rodgers once again connects with Watson for the rookie receiver’s fifth touchdown in 4 days. Aaron Jones adds 2 points on the following conversion. But the defense suffers. She cashes a third touchdown in a row through Austin Hooper perfectly found by his quarterback.
And if an interception by Rasul Douglas stops the series at the start of the 4th quarter, the attack is back in neutral. This inability to play in tune on both sides of the ball makes any comeback ambition impossible. Several unsuccessful attempts conclude a 4th quarter where the Titans will only have had to manage.
