Packers: Rashan Gary extends for $107 million

Rashan Gary will be in Green Bay for a long time.

In a sporting slump on the field, Green Bay is working behind the scenes to keep one of its best elements.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Mediathe franchise reached an agreement with Rashan Gary for a 4-year extension worth $107 million with a signing bonus of nearly $35 million.

If the defeats accumulate for the Packers, Rashan Gary is one of the rare satisfactions on the defense side. Affected by cruciate ligaments last year, the pass rusher has regained all his abilities and is among the most effective players in face-to-face encounters with the opposing tackle.

In his 5th and final year of his rookie contract, the former Michigan Wolverine hits the jackpot and positions himself as one of the cornerstones of the team’s future.

In 7 games in 2023, Gary made 15 tackles including 4.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss.
