No Mexico, but twice as much Germany in 2023 for the NFL?

Five meetings in Europe in 2023? The NFL thinks about it!

Due to the 2026 World Cup that Mexico is hosting, the Estadio Azteca de Mexico will be under renovation during the 2023 NFL season and therefore will not be available.

Mexico should therefore be deprived of a meeting next season. But it is Europe that could benefit from it!

According to Pro FootballTalk, Peter O’Reilly, vice president of NFL events and club business, said on Wednesday that Germany could host two fixtures in 2023.

A meeting is already planned in Frankfurt for the coming season. But the success of the game played in Munich last November seems to have given ideas to the league.

In addition to the three meetings expected in the United Kingdom, that would make five meetings on the Old Continent in 2023!
