Ryan Ramczyk to miss entire season

Before free agency began, the possibility of missing the entire 2024 season was discussed for Ryan Ramczyk. Today, that possibility became real. The Saints tackle was placed on the Reserve/PUP List. That meant he would miss the first four games of the season, before being added to the final roster after those four games.

Later Thursday, NFL Media reported that Ramczyk will ultimately miss the entire 2024 season. During the offseason, coach Dennis Allen had already expressed concerns about his knee injury. Now, there is little doubt that the 30-year-old will not play the season. It could also mean the end of his career for the player, who is worth $13 million in salary cap space in 2024.

Patriots for Aiyuk?

With Brandon Aiyuk (WR, 49ers) officially requesting a trade, rumors are swirling about his future destination. One of them is sending the receiver to New England.

The situation has since evolved a lot, it remains to be seen if the Patriots are still interested. Given the state of their receiving corps, adding Aiyuk would not be a bad idea. Young Drake Maye (QB, Patriots) would really need it if he wants to make his mark in the big league.

Two and a half years later and at the microphone of Bubba Dub Showthe Hall of Fame receiver points the finger at Tom Brady.
