After just six weeks, the Jets traded Mecole Hardman to the Chiefs.
ESPN announced this Wednesday that the Chiefs made a trade with the Jets for Mecole Hardman (WR). In exchange for a 2025 sixth-rounder, the Chiefs received their former receiver and a 2025 seventh-rounder.
After four seasons in Kansas City, Hardman signed as a free agent for a four million dollar contract with the Jets.
The 25-year-old receiver, however, only played 28 snaps with the New York franchise.
In 57 games with Patrick Mahomes, Mecole Hardman’s statistics are 2,088 receiving yards for 16 touchdowns.
