According to WSB-TV and confirmed by The Athletic, Matt Ryan is going to be cut by the Indianapolis Colts.

In 12 games, the former MVP of the 2016 NFL season threw for 3,057 yards, 14 touchdowns, 13 interceptions with 67% completed passes. It was also sacked 38 times in 2022.
This cut will allow the Colts to save $17.2 million in payroll, with also $18 million in dead money. Regarding the player, unless he finds a contract with another team, Matt Ryan will receive $ 12 million guaranteed in 2023 from a new contract negotiated by his agent during the trade.
