Trevor Lawrence will have to grit his teeth

Suspense until the last moment for Trevor Lawrence (QB, Jaguars). Still bothered by his shoulder and limited in practice, the quarterback is reportedly pushing to play, according to NFL Media. But the decision would have to wait until the last moment.

The good news is that there is no risk of aggravating his injury. On the other hand, he should suffer if he plays.

If Lawrence is on the field, he could count on Christian Kirk (WR), who came off the injured list. The receiver has been out since an abdominal injury in early December.

Injuries

– Will Levis (QB, Titans) is officially out for the last game of the season due to a foot injury. His coach announced it to the press on Friday. It is therefore Ryan Tannehill who will start this Sunday against the Jaguars.

– Taylor Heinicke (QB, Falcons) will decide during warm-ups whether or not he can participate in the game against the Saints. He was hit in the left ankle. (ESPN)

– TJ Watt (LB, Steelers) suffers from a level 3 medial collateral ligament sprain in his knee. He left the field during the third quarter Saturday night. More tests are to come. If his team qualifies for the playoffs this Sunday, he may have trouble being on the field. (ESPN)

– Jason Verrett (CB, 49ers) fell badly in training and will have to have shoulder surgery. He has a torn rotator cuff. His season is over. He was supposed to play this Sunday against the Rams. (ESPN)
