Madden 25: Who succeeds Aaron Donald?

Every day new player ratings in Madden 25 appear. As always, the franchise strives to reveal an offensive position, and a defensive position. Clear space for defensive linemen.

Chris Jones natural heir

There was little doubt. If Aaron Donald left a vacant position as king of the defensive linemen, Chris Jones rightfully ascended to his throne. But unlike the former Rams player, the latter does not reach the maximum mark.

However, his top-10 ranking at his position is supported by his individual performances last year. The defensive tackle finished his 2023 campaign with 10.5 sacks, 4 passes defended, 30 tackles, a Pro Bowl start and a first-team All-Pro selection.

THE ” Nose Tackle » in the spotlight

This sometimes forgotten, unsexy but devilishly important position has a nice showcase in Madden 25. When we talk about nose tacklewe are talking about these high-tonnage players capable of taking the inside of the line alone, aligned facing the opposing center. In modern 34 defenses, this particular role has taken on a new dimension.

We therefore find in the Top 10 Dexter Lawrence II, Quinnen Williams, Derrick Brown and Vita Vea who are capable of assuming such a role.

The complete Top 10 (overall rating)

1 – Chris Jones (97)

2 – Dexter Lawrence II (95)

3 – Quinnen Williams (94)

4 – Justin Madubuike (92)
