LIVE – The choice by choice recap of the 3rd round

Follow the summary of the 3rd round choices of the 2024 NFL Draft live on this page

65. New York Jets (via Carolina Panthers) – Malalchi Corley (WR, Western Kentucky)

After not picking in the second round, the Jets set up a trade with the Panthers to give Aaron Rodgers a target.

Ultra productive with Western Kentucky, Malachi Corley will complement Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams.

66. Arizona Cardinals – Trey Benson (RB, Florida State)

Second running back selected in this Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.

Trey Benson will give competition to James Conner, who convinced last season but who didn't really have an understudy to make him breathe. This is what the powerful running back from Florida State will try to bring.

67. Washington Commanders – Brandon Coleman (OL, TCU)

5th selection in this Draft for Dan Quinn and the Commanders. They (finally) address this need for the offensive line to protect Jayden Daniels.

The lucky one is Brandon Coleman, who is coming off a very good college career with TCU, where he was a varsity runner-up in 2022.

68. New England Patriots – Caedan Wallace (OT, Penn State)

After Olumuwiya Fashanu, another tackle from Penn State arrives in the NFL with the Patriots to protect Drake Maye.

Caedan Wallace specializes more in pass protection than ground plays. He could become a starter in the first week of the 2024 season.

69. Los Angeles Chargers – Junior Colson (LB, Michigan)

Jim Harbaugh should be happy with this choice, since Junior Colson is coming from the university where he coached last season.

With a very special history, the player from Haiti can become the linebacker of the future if he manages to develop well within a defensive coaching staff who knows him well.

70. New York Giants – Andru Phillips (CB, Kentucky)

The Giants choose the second curtain again with their 3rd pick.

After Tyler Nubin in the previous round, it is Andru Phillips who will bring speed to a second curtain which lacks it.

71. Arizona Cardinals (via Tennessee Titans) – Isaiah Adams (OL, Illinois)

5th player selected by the Cardinals in this Draft, but first player selected on the offensive line, with a player better on pass protection than on ground plays.

Isaiah Adams is fluid, tall, and has the potential to become a solid guard every Sunday in the NFL.
