Table of Contents

33. Buffalo Bills (via Carolina Panthers) – Keon Coleman (WR, Florida State)

The Bills' first pick in this Draft doesn't arrive until the start of the second round. After going down to garner choices for the future, Sean McDermott and his staff address their first need at the receiver position. A logical need after the losses of Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis in the offseason.

Keon Coleman is big, and is going to be a real threat in the red zone. He's not going to become Stefon Diggs, but it's a profile that's compatible with Khalil Shakir, and recent acquisition Curtis Samuel.

34. Los Angeles Chargers (via New England Patriots) – Ladd McConkey (WR, Georgia)

After protection for Justin Herbert, here is a target for the quarterback. The Chargers had to move up a few spots to select a receiver who will compensate for the numerous losses at this position during the offseason (Allen, Williams).

Two-time college champion, Ladd McConkey is an agile receiver, skilled with his hands. The former Georgia player will likely become the possession player the Chargers are looking for. A profile that Quentin Johnston, selected last year, did not respond to.

35. Atlanta Falcons (via Arizona Cardinals) – Ruke Orhorhoro (DT, Clemson)

After the surprising selection of Michael Penix Jr., the Falcons continue to surprise us. The Atlanta franchise moves up a few spots to select a player on the defensive line.

Alongside David Onyemata and Grady Jarrett, Ruke Orhorhoro will not be too much, quite the contrary. He is an excellent player against the run, despite an expected improvement in the pass rush. He is the 2nd defensive tackle left, after Byron Murphy selected by the Seahawks.

36. Washington Commanders – Jer’Zhan Newton (DT, Illinois)

After the selection of Jayden Daniels, the Commanders return to the other side of the field with a player who will be a nice complement to Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen.

Author of 17.5 sacks during his college career, Jer'Zhan Newton will bring his mobility and his violent hands. The defensive tackle should flourish in Dan Quinn's new defensive scheme.

37. New England Patriots (via Los Angeles Chargers) – Ja'Lynn Polk (WR, Washington)

With their second choice of the Draft, the Patriots give a target to their new quarterback Drake Maye. A player who fills a need in one of the weakest squads in the league.

After Rome Odunze at the Bears, his teammate Ja'Lynn Polk arrives at the Patriots. The player has very good qualities, particularly in terms of hands and speed. He can very quickly become the important player in an attack in dire need of decisive players.

38. Tennessee Titans – T’Vondre Sweat (DT, Texas)

After selecting an offensive tackle, Brian Callahan and his staff address another need on the line, but on the other side of the field.

Despite his recent legal setbacks, T'Vondre Sweat is a player who has the mentality to play in the NFL. Experienced, the massive defensive tackle is coming off a convincing season at Texas, where he notably scored a touchdown in the conference semi-finals.

39. Los Angeles Rams (via Carolina Panthers) – Braden Fiske (DT, Florida State)

It's a fair for defensive tackles, because we are already the 4th selected in this second round. We had to watch a lot of the Seminoles games on the Rams side. After Jared Verse, the Los Angeles franchise selects another player from Florida, and on the defensive line.

Very convincing during the Draft process, the experienced Braden Fiske strengthens the young defensive line of the Rams. The complementarity with Kobie Turner is obvious given the mobility and determination he can bring.

40. Philadelphia Eagles (via Washington Commanders) – Cooper DeJean (CB, Iowa)

The Eagles move up several places, and decide with this choice to start again on the second curtain. After Quinyon Mitchell, another more versatile player arrives in Philadelphia.

Impressive with Iowa, Cooper DeJean had an unfortunate end to the season with a foot injury. Recovered in time to test during his Pro Day, he could become an important player in his first season with the Eagles.

41. New Orleans Saints (via Green Bay Packers) – Kool-Aid McKinstry (CB, Alabama)

The Saints follow the Eagles' move, and move up a few spots to select a player who could replace Marshon Lattimore long term.

Alabama player Kool-Aid McKinstry sees his fall stop there. The cornerback is a player with certain athletic potential. The Saints may have their future there shutdown cornerback.

42. Houston Texans – Kamari Lassiter (CB, Georgia)

The Texans choose their first player in this 2024 NFL Draft. DeMeco Ryans and his staff address this first need on the second curtain, with the 3rd cornerback selected in a row in this second round.

Slender, Kamari Lassiter will be a good complement to Derek Stingley Jr. Despite a Draft process that is far from convincing, he could be the future outside cornerback that the Texans are looking for in Ryans' aggressive defense.

43. Arizona Cardinals (via Atlanta Falcons) – Max Melton (CB, Rutgers)

After defensive tackles, it is cornerbacks who are popular. After selecting Marvin Harrison Jr. then Darius Robinson, the Cardinals spoil Jonathan Gannon with a cornerback. An important position in a squad lacking quality despite the recent signing of Sean Murphy-Banting.

Max Melton is a player with a lot of speed. Capable of mastering all types of coverage, he should be a starter from the first week of the 2024 season.

44. Las Vegas Raiders – Jackson Powers-Johnson (OL, Oregon)

After Brock Bowers, the Raiders return to offense to select an offensive lineman. A significant need despite the recent signing of Cody Withehair.

Positioned as a center throughout last season at Oregon, Jackson Powers-Johnson (JPJ) shone in 2023. His room for improvement is enormous. His profile should stabilize an inconsistent offensive line performance on the side of Antonio Pearce's team.

45. Green Bay Packers (via New Orleans Saints) – Edgerrin Cooper (LB, Texas A&M)

With De'Vondre Campbell gone, the need at linebacker had to be filled for the Packers. That’s done with this second-round selection.

Complete, Edgerrin Cooper can be a future leader of defense. Impressive in 2023, he should form a great pair with Quay Walker.

46. Carolina Panthers (via Indianapolis Colts) – Jonathon Brooks (RB, Texas)

The Carolina Panthers move up a few spots to look for a new offensive playmaker. Thus, Dave Canales' team selects the first running back of this 2024 NFL Draft.

Injured at the end of the season, Jonathan Brooks has enough references and qualities to become the starter in the long term. This likely means a departure for Miles Sanders or Chuba Hubbard.

47. New York Giants – Tyler Nubin (S, Minnesota)

After an offensive playmaker with Malik Nabers, the Giants are going for a playmaker on the other side of the field. The New York franchise fills a need by selecting the first safety in this 2024 NFL Draft to replace Xavier McKinney, who left for the Packers.

Author of 13 interceptions in his college career, Tyler Nubin is a player more intelligent than athletic. Very good on running games, he will be a good complement to Jason Pinnock, the revelation of the 2023 season for the Giants.

48. Jacksonville Jaguars – Maason Smith (DT, LSU)

We definitely like the LSU players on the Jaguars side. After wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., the Jaguars move to the other side of the field to address a need on the defensive line.

To replace Foley Fakutasi, Doug Pederson and his staff choose Maason Smith. Imposing, and with potential that can be very high, the pair he could form with Arik Armstead looks promising.

49. Cincinnati Bengals – Kris Jenkins (DT, Michigan)

And we continue with the defensive tackles, with the 6th selected in this second round. After the offensive line with Amarius Mims, the Bengals change sides with this 2nd choice to select a university champion.

Kris Jenkins specializes in stopping the ground game. He has potential in the pass rush, but it will have to be exploited. Alongside BJ Hill, the Michigan player could learn a lot before settling definitively in this defensive line.

50. Washington Commanders – Mike Sairistil (CB, Michigan)

The Commanders have garnered choices on the way down, and still manage to find a future playmaker on defense. After Jer'Zhan Newton earlier, Dan Quinn has a new player who can develop as a great player in the future.

University champion in 2023, Mike Sainristil has all the qualities to become the leader of a second curtain which suffered terribly last year. Capable of taking leadership, he will give real competition to Forrest, Forbes and even Michael Davis.

51. Pittsburgh Steelers – Zach Frazier (OL, West Virginia)

The Steelers aren't done with the offensive line. After Troy Fautanu, we continue with the interior line with the selection of a center.

Multi-awarded with West Virginia, Zach Frazier should be an added value compared to the players who play his position for the Steelers. If he is not the tallest, nor the most athletic, his playing intelligence should be enough to be an indisputable starter for long seasons in the NFL.

52. Indianapolis Colts (via Carolina Panthers) – Adonai Mitchell (WR, Texas)

After satisfying Gus Bradley with the selection of Laiatu Latu, Shane Steichen will look for his offensive playmaker with a player whose behavior could raise questions at the high level. Despite everything, he fills a need at the receiver position.

University champion with Georgia, and very good last season with Texas, Adonai Mitchell has a profile that can recall Alec Pierce. What might separate him is that Mitchell can be a real threat in the red zone, which hasn't been the case for the former Cincinnati player.

53. Washington Commanders (via Philadelphia Eagles) – Ben Sinnott (TE, Kansas State)

With this 3rd choice of the second round, the Commanders choose a player who is a good blocker for running games, with receiving potential.

Ben Sinnott is a good, fluid tight end who can be a real threat in the red zone. He fills a need at a position that has been in difficulty among the Commanders for several years.

54. Cleveland Browns – Michael Hall Jr. (DT, Ohio State)

The last team not to have made a choice in this Draft finally chooses its first player. With this, the Browns fill a need by choosing a new player at the defensive tackle position, the 7th in this second round.

Michael Hall Jr. has the power to disrupt the protection pocket. If he can sometimes be nonchalant, his enormous potential cannot be overlooked. Alongside great players on the pass rish like Garrett and Smith, he should flourish.

55. Miami Dolphins – Patrick Paul (OT, Houston)

The Dolphins take charge of the offensive line with their second pick. A player who could initially be in rotation, before being able to be a long-term starter, given the injury problems that Terron Armstead may have.

Of great stature, Patrick Paul has clearly improved his technique in pass protection. While his potential may raise questions, he remains a physical player who can learn in a full squad.

56. Dallas Cowboys – Marshawn Kneeland (EDGE, Western Michigan)

The Cowboys give help to Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence with their second draft picks. He is therefore the first selection of new Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.

A rising player in the reports, Marshawn Kneeland is a player of great stature and in the hands of good power. Possessing great energy and a good sense of effort, the pass rusher may not be too frightening front seven of the Dallas franchise.
