Kevin Byard cut by the Eagles

A little tour and then it's gone. Arriving in Philadelphia in October, Kevin Byard was cut by the Eagles according to ESPN. The franchise frees up more than $13 million in its payroll.

A double All Pro, the safety arrived in Pennsylvania against a 5th and 6th round draft pick. Arriving in a contending and ambitious team, he did not achieve the expected success. Not necessarily at his level, he sank with his entire new team in the second half of the season.

In 10 games with the Eagles, he made 75 tackles including 3.5 for loss and one interception. At 30, he is a free agent for the first time in his career. A few days before the market opens, his name is added to an attractive list of players available at his position.
