Justin Madubuike extends to Ravens for 98 million

The negotiations will not last forever. The Ravens announced through the voice of their general manager having extended the contract Justin Madubuike. According to NFL Media, the agreement would cover 4 seasons and an amount of 98 million dollars. He becomes the 2nd highest paid defensive tackle in the league, behind the unbeatable Aaron Donald.

“We are delighted to announce the 4-year extension of Justin Madubuike” declared Eric De Costa. “Justin is one of the best defensive tackles in the league and the cornerstone of our defense,” added the general manager in his press release.

At the end of the contract, the defensive tackle was tagged at the start of the week. His adventure therefore continues well in Baltimore in the long term. It must be said that the 26-year-old is coming off a particularly brilliant season. Honored with a 2nd team All Pro selection, Madubuike has been everywhere on the Ravens defensive line. With 56 tackles including 13 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, he shined in one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Drafted in the 3rd round in 2020, the former Texas A&M student took time to grow and toughen up under John Harbaugh. Progressing season after season and gaining more and more importance on the defensive line.
