Justin Jefferson (Vikings) pockets a record contract of 140 million

Justin Jefferson broke the bank. He becomes the highest paid football player, outside of quarterbacks, in history.

The numbers are astronomical. Justin Jefferson signs four-year, $140 million contract. An average which therefore amounts to 35 million per year. NFL Media also brings in $110 million guaranteed.

It's the spring of all financial superlatives for receivers, after Amon-Ra St. Brown, AJ Brown, Nico Collins and Jaylen Waddle, it's now Justin Jefferson who gets his extension and the title of highest paid receiver in the league (and of all time).

The NFL's best receiver takes what's coming to him

Justin Jefferson did everything he could to win this lucrative new contract. Since entering the NFL in 2020, he has accumulated 392 receptions, for 5,899 yards and 30 touchdowns.

He has established himself for many as the best player in his position and the best offensive player. Title he won in 2022 after a season of all statistical records.

Justin Jefferson therefore adds a new line to his “individual record” as the highest paid non-quarterback player of all time. He will have until 2028 to go for the most important title with the Vikings, the one he is missing, the Lombardi Trophy.
