You can’t reach the university title and a first Super Bowl at 25 without a good dose of confidence. Joe Burrow called him back Sunday night after his team’s win over the Ravens.
After failing in the finals last year, Cincinnati is back in the playoffs. At a press conference, a journalist therefore asked Burrow if he thought his team was in what is generally referred to as “a title window”, when several good players are brought together in the same squad with contracts that fit together well.
The answer was quite simple.
“The window is my whole career. The players, the coaches, things will change from one year to the next. But our window is always open,” Burrow explained.
The Bengals enter the playoffs on an eight-game winning streak. A second qualification in a row that Burrow celebrated with measure.
“It’s our standard now. We’re going to celebrate it every time, with our cigars, our t-shirts and our caps, but we expect it every year. »
