New York Jets (4-7) – Miami Dolphins (8-3):
Starting in place of Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle (27/38, 179 yards, 1TD, 2 int) did not perform a miracle and maintained the sad offensive mediocrity of the Jets. The quarterback had a very complicated evening. Abandoned by his line, he took the tide throughout the match and produced a very sad copy. Sacked 7 times, intercepted 2 times, Boyle was stifled throughout the game by excellent defense.
On the other side of the ball, carried by its duo of receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, both beyond 100 yards, the Miami attack provided the essentials and took advantage of the opposing inability to move the chains to get his hands on the ball and score the points he needed.
Boredom then madness
Perhaps due to too much turkey for Thanksgiving, this first Black Friday game took a while to get going. Apart from a few flashes from Tyreek Hill (9 receptions, 102 yards, 1 TD), the attacks had great difficulty distinguishing themselves. It was also the Miami receiver who scored the only offensive touchdown of the first half. Constantly under pressure, the New York attack returned a famished copy of 47 yards gained and only 2 first downs obtained.
After 29 minutes of certain boredom, the surrealist took control of the match in the last minute before the break. Three interceptions, including 2 returned for touchdown, the defenses severely punished the opposing quarterbacks and gave a completely different color to the match. First it was Jets cornerback Brandin Echols, who cut the trajectory of a well-phoned pass from Tagovailoa to score his team’s first points. 56 seconds later, it’s DJ Reed’s turn to steal the leather. But with only 2 seconds on the clock and half the field to go, New York made the daring choice to attempt the Hail Mary. Bad idea. Not only does Javon Holland intercept, but he goes back no less than 99 yards to punish his opponent and deliver a huge blow to their heads.

Miami in management
After the break, the New York attack is still depressing and cannot stay on the field. A godsend for Miami which gets its hands on the leather and shows it and adds 7 more points by Raheem Mostert. The runner even doubled the lead at the end of the match, annihilating the little suspense that had been created by Garrett Wilson’s touchdown a few minutes earlier. The Dolphins defensive curtain continues its demolition work and continues to send Boyle to the ground. New York finishes painfully with 159 small yards and sinks a little further to the bottom of its division.
