Jets: Cruciate ligament tear confirmed for Breece Hall

Roberts Saleh’s fears were well founded.

Hard blow for the Jets who lose one of their most promising weapons for the rest of the season.

Tipped as a serious candidate for the title of Offensive Rookie of the Year, Breece Hall tore the cruciate ligament of the knee against the Broncos according to NFL Network. ESPN even adds that there could be additional damage to the young runner’s meniscus. Hall will be quickly placed on the injured list, with the goal of recovering for next year.

In seven first games of the season, Hall went for 463 yards on 80 carries for 4 touchdowns. He also received 19 passes for 218 yards and 1 touchdown.
